The Fayette County Commission established Fayette County Archives in 2016 to preserve county government’s permanent records and to make the records available to the public.
The Archives is under the direction of the County Mayor’s office.
A team of volunteers is cleaning, organizing, and storing records in the limited space currently assigned to the project. Email is the way to contact the staff until Archives is fully operational.
