The Friends of the Somerville-Fayette County Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization that encourages and welcomes residents to join. There is a $10 annual membership fee. All funds or donations that the Friends receive from book sales and gifts are used to support the library in numerous ways including furniture, bookcases, children’s supplies, programs and other exigencies. Shop the Shelves Book Sale the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM at the library.
